Clones Offered: 1C3, 1C7, 1C13, 1C10, 1C11 New MAbs: 3C1, 3C2, 3C4, 3C5, 3C6, 3C8 Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with human natural tumor-derived purified CEA antigen.  

Specificity: MAbs 3C2, 3C5, 3C6: epitope specificity group I MAb 1C13: epitope specificity group II MAb 3C1: epitope specificity group IVa or II MAb 1C3: epitope specificity group IV, cross-reactive with NCA2 MAbs 1C7, 1C11, 3C4: epitope specificity group IV MAb 3C8: epitope specificity group V MAb 1C10: Epitope Group 2† Epitope specificity is given per ISOBM classification. MAbs are not cross-reacting with human leukocytes in cytofluorometry.  

Applications: MAbs 1C7, 1C11 and 1C13 are working in Western Blotting. All MAbs (except MAb 1C13) can be used in immunohistochemistry (see Table 1 in printable version). MAbs 1C3, 1C7, 1C13, 1C10, 1C11 and 3C6 are working in EIA. Recommended pairs for sandwich immunoassay (coating – conjugate): 1C7 – 1C10, 1C11 – 1C10  

Purity: Ion exchange chromatography.  

Presentation: 10 mM Tris, pH 7.5, 0.15 M NaCl, 0.05 % sodium azide (NaN3)

Comments: This product is sold as an antibody preparation for research use only. Standard Laboratory Practices should be followed when handling this material. Contains sodium azide (0.05 %) as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling this product.
