Description: Thyroglobulin.  

Applications: Human thyroglobulin is suitable for use as a standard in immunoassay for determination of serum thyroglobulin levels, immunogen for antisera production, and tracer for iodination.  

Presentation: Lyophilized from 25 mM Tris-HCl, pH8. It is recommended to reconstitute the product in distilled water.

Source: Human thyroid gland. Blood sample from the tissue donor was tested and found negative for HBsAg, HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies, and HCV.  

Analysis: Purity > 98 % (SDS-PAGE). Immunological identity confirmed by reaction with monoclonal antibody that is specific for the human thyroglobulin.
