MoAb Isotype: IgG for MAb XM212 IgG1 for MAb 1H1  

Clones Offered: 1H1, XM212 Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with conjugate of purified thyroxine (Sigma T-2501) with BSA.  

Specificity: Thyroxine (T4) MAbs react with conjugate T4-BSA and with free thyroxine in ELISA. Cross-reactivity with triiodothyronine (Sigma T-2752) is less than 1%. The reactivity of the MAb XM212 with L-thyroxine is 100 % and with D-thyroxine 30 %.  

Applications: Detection of thyroxine. ELISA.  

Purity: 1H1 by chromatography on protein A Sepharose XM212 by ion exchange chromatography  

Presentation: 1H1 in PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1 % sodium azide (NaN3) XM212 in 0.15 M NaCl, 10 mM Tris, pH 7.5, 0.05 % of sodium azide (NaN3).  

Shipping Conditions: 1H1 at + 4 °C XM212 at + 4 °C (<10 months) or at - 20 °C (for longer period).  

Comments: This product is sold as an antibody preparation for research use only. Standard Laboratory Practices should be followed when handling this material. Contains sodium azide (0.05-0.1 %) as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling this product.
