Clones Offered: GF5 Hybridoma clone has been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with purified GFAP from human brain.  

Specificity: Human GFAP MAb GF5 reacts with 43-45 kD band corresponding to GFAP in immunoblotting of extract from human brain and spinal cord. There is no cross-reactivity with other neurospecific proteins.  

Applications: Detection of GFAP in ELISA, indirect immunofluorescence staining and immunohistochemistry.  

Purity: Chromatography on protein G Sepharose  

Presentation: PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1 % sodium azide (NaN3)
