Product Information CD4, antibody. Description: CD4, antibody. MoAb Isotype: IgG1 for MAb LT4 Clones Offered: LT4 Hybridoma clone has been derived from hybridization of X63.653 myeloma with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with normal human blood lymphocytes. Specificity: MAb LT4 reacts with CD4 antigen (MW 59 kDa). MAb LT4 blocks 50 % of the binding of MAbs Leu 3a. Working dilution 1:4000. Applications: Can be used to enumerate T helper/inducer subset in peripheral blood and tissue. Presentation: PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1 % sodium azide (NaN3) Shipping Conditions: + 4 °C Comments: CD4 is present on 39 +/- 5 % of normal peripheral blood lymphocytes and 90 % of thymocytes. This antigen is found on the T helper cells. The CD4 molecule is the receptor for HIV. This product is sold as an antibody preparation for research use only. Standard Laboratory Practices should be followed when handling this material. Contains sodium azide (0.1 %) as preservative.
