Anti-Dopamine -Hydroxylase, C-Terminus, Human. Affinity purified sheep polyclonal antibody. Antigen: Peptide from the C-terminus region of human Dopamine -Hydroxylase (DBH), conjugated to keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH). Antibody Specificity: Specific for the ~75k DBH protein in Western blots of human adrenal medulla. Also recognizes DBH in monkey and mouse tissues.

Applications: WB: 1:1000. In blot immunolabeling studies, the antibodies react specifically with single (or double) Mr ~70-75.000 band(s) in samples of SDS-solubilized, DTT-reduced human adrenal medulla subjected to SDS-Page. Immunohistochemistry staining was evaluated in the locus coeruleus of formaldehyde-fixed, cryopreserved human and monkey brain (other species not tested).  

Purity: Prepared from sheep serum by affinity purification using a Sulfo-Link column matrix to which the peptide immunogen was coupled.
