XM207, HPRO-1, HPRO-2, HPRO-3

Hybridoma clone for MAb XM207 has been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with

spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with conjugate of purified progesterone with BSA. For

HPRO- 1, HPRO-2 and HPRO-3 immunogen was conjugate of 17⍺-hydroxyprogesterone with BSA.


Specificity: MAb XM207: Progesterone, Ka = 3.0 x 109 M-1

MAb HPRO-2: Progesterone

MAbs HPRO-1, HPRO-3: 17⍺-hydroxyprogesterone

MAb XM207 reacts with progesterone in ELISA.

MAbs HPRO-1 and HPRO-3 react with 17⍺-hydroxyprogesterone-BSA conjugate and free 17α-

hydroxyprogesterone. There is no cross-reactivity with BSA.

MAb Isotypes:

IgG2b for MAbs XM207, HPRO-2 and HPRO-3

IgG3 for MAb HPRO-1

XM207 and HPRO-2 can be used for detection of progesterone.

HPRO-1 and HPRO-3 can be used in competitive assay of 17⍺-hydroxyprogesterone.

HPRO-1, HPRO-2 and HPRO-3 by chromatography on protein G Sepharose, and XM207 by ion

exchange chromatography.

HPRO-1, HPRO-2 and HPRO-3 in PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1 % sodium azide (NaN3), and XM207 in 0.15 M

NaCl, 10 mM Tris, pH 7.5, 0.05% of sodium azide (NaN3).
