Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunised with purified RSV, strain Long.
Specificity:
Nucleoprotein (N) for MAb 8B10.MAb 8B10 is reacting well only with mature virions with completely assembled nucleocapsids. MAb 8B10 is failing to recognize the N-protein epitope of immature and destroyed virions, which indicates on conformation dependence of the MAb 8B10 binding site.

IgG1 for MAb 8B10
Applications:
Detection of RSV, MAb 8B10 can be used for detection of incomplete virus assembly.
MAb is working in ELISA and in lateral flow.
