Disialoganglioside GD1b, bovine

Bovine brain tissue.

One of the main neuronel ganglioside with disialo linkage. May act as a co-receptor for bacterial toxins (tetanus, botulinus) and marker of neural tumors (astroglioma). Can be used as immunogen
for production of monoclonal antibodies that do not cross-react with GT1b or GD2.
