Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with native human GFAP (MAbs GFAP81cc, GFAP83cc, GFAP94cc and GFAP98cc) or with synthetic peptide ₁AGFKETRASERAEMME₁₆ corresponding to 60-75 a.a.r. of GFAP conjugated with a carrier protein (MAb GFAP15cc).
