Recombinant human cardiac TnI contains additional methionine residue at the N-terminus (in comparison with native protein expressed in cardiomyocytes).

Calibrator or standard in immunoassays, immunogen for antisera production, mass cTnI standard

Purity > 95 % (SDS-PAGE).
Concentration is determined spectrophotometrically, abs 0.1% (1 g/L) – 0.420 (measured at 280 nm).

Immunoreactivity is confirmed by reaction with several monoclonal antibodies specific to different epitopes of human cardiac TnI isoform.

Immunoaffinity purification followed by ion-exchange chromatography

Reconstitute with Tris/urea buffer (20 mM Tris pH 7.5, 7 M urea, 5 mM EDTA, 15 mM β-mercaptoethanol).

Lyophilized -20 °C (between -15 and -30 °C allowed)
Reconstituted -70 °C (between -65 and -80 °C allowed)

Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. It is recommended to aliquot the product after reconstitution.
