Recombinant human Insulin-like growth factor binding protein 5 (IGFBP-5)

Expressed in mammalian cell line

IGFBP-5 is expressed as full length mature protein (amino acids 21-272, UniProt ID = P24593).

Suitable for use as a mass IGFBP-5 standard, standard or calibrator in immunoassay.

Purity > 90% (according to SDS-PAAG), including detected fragments.
IGFBP-5 concentration is determined spectrophotometrically.
Immunoreactivity is confirmed in sandwich immunoassay with specific monoclonal antibodies.

Immunoaffinity purification

40 mM sodium citrate pH 4.0

-70 °C (between -65 and -80 °C allowed)

Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
It is recommended to aliquot the product after the first thawing.
Store the protein at pH 4.0. Storage at other pH values may result in decrease of recombinant human IGFBP-5 immunological activity.
